Vegetarian Corn Dogs




Drain, dry off with a paper towel, and set aside:
         1        20 oz. can Loma Linda Big Franks, Linkettes 
                             OR Vegetarian hot dogs of your choice
   




Cut in half if desired to make smaller dogs. 



Prepare oil for frying- follow all manufacture direction.  
                    Vegetable oil for frying
Mix all together:
          1         cup all-purpose flour
          2/3      cup cornmeal
 2        Tbs. sugar
 1/4       tsp. salt
          1½       tsp. baking powder
          ½        tsp. mustard
          1         egg, beaten
          ¾        cup milk -
          2         Tbs. oil
                     dash pepper





Dip franks in batter.


Place frank in hot oil.



Remove with metal tongs when they are a nice, honey brown color.

Add corn dog sticks if desired. 



I serve while hot with sauce made of Best Foods sandwich spread, ketchup and mustard mixed together.
