Focaccia Bread

Focaccia Bread


Mix together in a large bowl and let stand ~5 minutes:
         2½   tsp. active dry yeast
         1       cup warm water (110 degrees)
2       tsp. sugar
 Add:
         ¾      tsp. salt
         ¼      cup olive oil
         ~3   cups all-purpose flour

Rise until doubled. Spread onto large 10”x15” greased cookie sheet and rise again. Add toppings of choice and bake at 350 degrees until bottom is light brown. 

 Topping Choices
·      Marinara sauce and grated mozzarella
·      Fresh herbs – rosemary, basil, oregano, thyme, chives
·      Olive oil                                     Sliced tomatoes        
·      Pizza sauce                         Coarse salt

·      Sliced olives                      Green onions
